Who can apply?
Everyone in the Wushu community - contemporary or traditional Wushu. Athletes, coaches, students of Wushu, hobbyist etc. anyone needing some financial help when it comes to pursuing Wushu.
How to apply?
Fill out the application below and we will get in touch with you about next steps. We will require all requested materials to be received before any funding can be provided.
How much funding will be provided?
Given this will be our first year, how much funding will depend on how many requests we have. We have an application process that must be completed. We will allocate funds based on requests however slight priority will be given to our local community and those who have worked directly in helping out at/with NECWA in the past.
When will funding be provided?
Funding will be in the form of reimbursement. Thus funding for equipment, will be provided only after purchase of the equipment. Funding for competition, will only be provided after completion of registration. After receiving funding all we expect is for you to tag us on social media or just a quick mention that we helped fund/reimburse a portion of your trip, equipment purchase etc. We want more people to know about this so that we can help as many in our community as possible!
